Best right now would be Kimbrel. Most intimidating probably Chapman.

Both these guys are pretty intimidating.

Kimbrel with his trademark stare.

Chapman with his smoke throwing wildness.

It won't. Especially since it was right after 9/11.

This guy. Billy the Motherfricking Kid.

Didn't need any stupid fricking gimmicks. No shitty buttrock serenading him as he entered the game (they forced Enter Sandman on him, I swear). No crazy facial hair. Only thing he needed that set him apart from the rest was that motherfrickin heater.

His only gimmick was to step off the mound before his first pitch and have a quick word with God. Only he wasn't praying for himself...he was praying for the batter. God never did shite for him but break his right arm. You know what ol' Billy did after that? He said "frick you God, I'll just pitch with my left".

So go ahead. Fawn over your Eckersleys, your Riveras, your Hoffmans. Gag on Gagne. Worship Wetteland. Billy Wagner will say a prayer for you too...right before he sends you back to the pine with your tail between your legs and your batting average one point lower.

Was it Hell's Bells or the curve he threw?

I just think big guy like Smith throwing smoke would been frightening.
