TW has the most consecutive pga tour wins record in modern era as well. winning back to back pga tour events is special but:

TW won 7 consecutive events he entered in 2006-2007.
He won 6 consecutive events in 1999-2000.
Won 5 consecutive events in 2007-2008.

Kobe scoring 81 pts in a game is the modern record. That won't be touched.

In 1996, LSU homered on their first pitch and last pitch of the CWS.

In 1958 Roy Face went 18-1. He had zero starts.

The 1970 Orioles had 4 20 game winners. That won't happen again.

Phil Niekro once won 20 games and lost 20 games in the same season.

Damn.

Did he at least have more wins than losses?

Was the '96 team also the one where every player that registered an at bat had a home run? Whichever LSU team that was, it won't ever happen again.

Didn't Jim Bottomly have 18 total bases in a game-4 homers and a double?

I believe Wilbur Wood did the 20-20 double as well.

If LeBron has Kobe's selfish streak he would score 56 every game.

This is very impressive because it is not a team deal. Anything an individual does without the benefit of being defended and has done it as many times as this is really awesome.

Didn't remember that, but LSU did homer in the last at bat in the '96 Championship game & the first at bat in the '97 Championship game.

BTW: they also hit a homer in every game between those two

In the first 11 years of existence, the New Orleans Saints had a winning record for a grand total of one week: week 1 of the 1971 season.

Der Kaiser 1976

Also Bode Miller 2008 Kitzbuhel

Here's the amazing part of Miller's run. He was traveling about 65 mph when he did this.
