Seriously though, if someone is bored and needs to kill time, I suggest jumping to around 4:00 in this thread
Obviously is nice to have hindsight with the Verlander move eventually happening..:but still a great example of a nuclear level melt
You're the most reasonable and best Astros fan I've ever met. Thanks for all you do, you've made it. You're the king.

It’s crazy how quickly some of you have given up on your 100 win team. Who just beat the Red Sox and jumped to a 2-0 lead against the Yankees. Y’all talk shite about Yankee fans, but some of you are absolutely pathetic. There’s still two games to go. I guess this must be what it feels like for Bama fans to read the Rant. Bunch of babies.

they've never been there before, what do you expect. If it were up to them, Hinch would have been fired 2 years ago, Verlander would have never been traded for, springer would have been traded because he K's too much etc etc

Well that's just ignorant.

Mate I would have let the entire rest of your post slide if you didn't say this as a Cubs fan.

The correct answer: Cubs
They played 2 highly competitive games that couldve went either way
Plus
3 straight LCS with a ring to show for it. Average age of the position players is like 25 y/o
Ya, real embarrassing there
Ya got us!

My sons coach pitch fall league.
They were running shop on everybody and last night had a complete team brain fart that cost them a perfect season. I have seen some shite in my day but this was absolutely terrible
You know what?
Those little shits didn't act like they gave one shite. All happy and crap. Only thing they cared about was the pizza after the game! Pissed me off

Please, at least you're in the ALCS this year. My favorite team is still paying Bobby Bonilla $1.19MM per year through 2035.
In fairness, he had a .270 batting average as a Met.

Kind of dumb to be freaking out. The home team wins game 1 and 2, then the home team wins 3, 4, and 5, and then the home team wins 6 and 7 all the time in the 2-3-2 series.

Must be cold up there.

Still got Verlander for game 6.
And absolute dogshit for game 7.
McCullers did well yesterday. Doesn’t matter thought if we become Killer B’s 2.0 and cant hit for shite when it counts.

Unfortunately, the Indians topped y'all. HFA through the playoffs and likely should've been easily beaten.
Easily. Cleveland getting upset in the first round was one of the most shocking MLB playoff upsets I can remember in a long time. They played the last two games of that series with their hands around their throats.

You aren't very old are you? This is vintage Astro playoff baseball. Throughout their history, their hitters vanish without a trace during their rare appearances in the playoffs-sort of like a whole team of ARods.
It was tough growing up as a kid that loved sports in Louisiana when your two closest professional teams were the Saints and the Astros. So in case you ever wonder why there are so many Yankee and Cowboy fans here, folks had to have someone to pull for in the playoffs.

There are two games left in Houston. I want my Yankees to win but it's by no means a sure thing.

Not sure why Astro fans are freaking out. The home team has won every game and you hit well at home.
I think they bounce back in 6 and then who knows for game 7. Flip a coin
I grew up with the Stros and remember Billy Hatcher off the foul pole in 86
