I thought Claiborne would've come around by now, but he's yet to make the jump. Sucks. He had all the talent coming out of LSU, but he's busted so far. I'm rooting for him to turn it around.

Injuries, man. He played through them and has missed tons of time. Including all of last year's camp and lots of this one

Some dude clocks you on a perfectly legal tackle and you start a brawl? Holy butthurt
There was to be no tackling at the practice, fwiw.

Cowboys getting all the tackles they can in now, since they aren't going to be doing much of it during the season.

I'm not sure why the Cowboys would even want to highlight this on their website.

This baffled me as well. Didn't think the video was gonna be on DallasCowboys.com.

So there was no tackling at this scrimmage, but everyone thinks the Raiders were butthurt?

Tackling someone who isn't expecting a full tackle isn't exactly tough for the Cowboys DB (#24) to do.

Obviously trying to show aggression from a struggling defense. Also pushes the Scandrick play down on your list of stories on your site.

Yeah, at least they look like they care. That's more than you could say most of last year.

Later on in the article...

The joint practice ended with another dustup. Cowboys fullback J.C. Copeland had his helmet ripped off by Raiders linebacker Justin Cole, leading to both teams sprinting toward each other again with some pushing and shoving.

that TE dropped his shoulder as MC approached him. MC didn't even hit him that hard.

Im pretty sure the scrimmage was live hitting. Notice how the TE wasnt mad and walked away

Some other dude came charging in towards Claiborne. And that wasn't even a brawl. It was more like a celebration dogpile.

Yeh. They were probably running a scrimmage that allowed contact, but no wrapping and driving to the ground. Well, Claiborne didnt do that. The TE lowered his shoulder and so did Claiborne. Someone has to win

Way overblown. That was a good clean tackle and Claiborne was stepping over the guy.

Per ESPN...

The brawl started when Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne slammed Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera to the turf by the sideline, just a few yards from a section of the crowd that was predominantly Raiders fans. There was an agreement that there would be no tackling at the practice, but Claiborne said he decided to take down Rivera after the tight end lowered his shoulder.
Fair enough. I still think nothing was really wrong with the play. Once the TE lowered his shoulder then Claiborne has to do the same. Just typical training camp stuff
