The final day is upon us.
All eyes are on San Diego.

Cubs reportedly talking to Braves about Teheran. Would be a nice get depending on price, under cheap control for next 5 years.

Mets will go after Bruce or J Upton, with a rumored Wheeler package the rumored get for Reds.

Yanks appear in on Kimbrel.

It'll be interesting to see if Pads can shed any of these nasty contracts---BJ Upton, Gyorko, Shields.

Here's to an unproductive day

I'm just getting caught up.

Looks like Astros and Padres could be working on "something big", like a Ross + Kimbrel.

Respect to the Stros..they are going for it.

A rough outline of what a deal could look like: Ross, Kimbrel to HOU. Marisnick, Appel, prospects to SD. Again, unclear if deal is close.

ETA---Has anything leaked on the Dbacks proposal for Chapman?

That doesn't appear to be a lot for Ross and Kimbrel

The dreamer in me is thinking prices will be lower today. There's like 8-10 arms on the block and 2-3 teams in the mix.

Maybe patience for the Cubs and Yanks will pay off.

From seeing tweets, one reporter described it as "BIG" another said, "it is ridiculous" so if ridiculous good because of who they are offering or is it because of what they are offering.

Well Yankees got Ackley
I think they add an arm for depth but nothing that cost. They may take a look at Beachy since the Dodgers designated him.

We need @Wojyahoonba to start covering mlb.

I also have no clue why dbacks want chapman. They aren't contending next year

Most active one I can really remember. I think with how wide open the AL is it pushed a lot of teams to go for it

Not saying he isn't good but the way some talk about him I would suppose he has an ERA of 0.00, never blown a save and is basically untouchable.
