cards just have bad odds because they are in the play-in game. once they win that the odds will be like 2/5 for sure for the champs.

also: anyone who jumps on the sinking ship that is texas at 7/1 when they have to play a one game playoff...well they just dont like money.

Good value in SF, STL, and even Atlanta.

I'll be taking this to go along with the bet I made back in April taking SF to win the WS @ +1,500

What if after the worst season of his career Lincecum goes out and throws 23.1 shutout innings in the postseason? That would interest me.

lincecum doesnt interest me one way or another (when he is pitching good or bad). i know its just my opinion, but if there is one team i dont want to win its san fran.

Cueto v. Cain @ AT&T

The Reds have one thing going for them: the Giants haven't seen Cueto yet this year (they missed him both times). Meanwhile, the Reds roughed up Cain in both matchups, handing him two losses.

That being said, Cueto hasnt been the same guy for the past month or so. IF he makes it through the 1st inning ok, I think you are gonna see a bigtime pitchers duel.

I'm rooting for the Nats and Braves. If they both get knocked out then I'll pull for the O's.

If all three of those teams are gone...well, good thing it is football season!

I recall those games. That first start in Cincy he got slapped around. He's been pitching really well lately though. Last five starts he's given up 6 runs and K'ed 23.

That's my thinking as well. I gotta tell you I'm not looking forward to facing Latos. He always owns SF; only 18 ER in 74 IP against us.
