Man Shohei had an opportunity there. Gallegos battled his balls off that inning. Very entertaining game.

On a serious note, how big was Freddie getting gunned down at the plate in like the 5th inning?

Couldn't believe St. Louis held on for the win against Los Angeles.

yea big in hindsight but there were multiple things that could have changed things

either way that was the worst timing for a play like that as the dirt was still soaked at that point

Can’t leave that many runners on base! Ugh Yamamoto looked really good though

Oh a side note, are we doing the weekly MLB threads again this year? I’m guessing this would the first week. So happy baseball is back!

Nats had a two run lead in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and the reds hit a 2 run HR followed by solo for the walk off.

Old Leclerc showed up today. Still a ton of positives to take away from the weekend. Sborz, Yerry and Bradford all looked really good. Not going to lose any sleep over a loss where Seager and Jonah didn’t play.

That’s tough for the Dodgers. Go from punch out to end the inning to catchers interference and another run scored.
