Yeah, and more than a bunch of owners who run things the right way and truly care. They have always done a hell of a job identifying and developing young talent that they eventually trade away

Bobby Cox was the GM when he took over managing the Braves, and I don't think Cox's two year stint in the majors really prepared him for the job.

Worst owner in baseball hands down. Read a book a few years back called "Public Dollars, Private Stadiums," about how these brand new stadiums get built. They could do an updated version just on Loria and the Marlins stadium alone

I love the new stadium. It's awesome. I go to several games a year, usually sit in the Clevelander club, have a few drinks, dinner, stare at the half dozen or so nearly naked chicks in the swimming pool or half naked cocktail waitressess, and even watch the game some.
But Loria is terrible and there is no excitement for the game unless Fernandez is pitching.
Btw, I don't see him getting rid of Fernandez. His popularity is off the charts and he is probably the best pitcher in the game.

Is he worse than Bill Wirtz (Blackhawks) or Harold Ballard ( Maple Leafs)?

Right, but that's kind of standard, or at least standard enough to have a name. I meant special as in out of the norm because of the obvious screw job he's getting.

I can't objectively answer that as a Hawks fan. However, at least dollar Bill did one thing to help the Blackhawks, he died. I can't think of one good thing Loria has done on his own merit
