Watch this video, the guy is in over his head

Dude seemed level headed about the whole thing. All I got from it was that there were black folks yelling about oppression and filming him?

To me, these idiots just dealt this guy a straight flush. He holds all the cards.

If I were him, I would say, "You want me to resign? My buyout is $20 million. Otherwise, I will personally expel any student who doesn't live up to his/her athletic grant-in-aid."

I am still trying to grasp why they are angry, and why they think the president should resign?

Can you enlighten me?

Not to forget, the activists covered a statue of Thomas Jefferson in sticky notes with various incendiary words. So it's not like the mizzou campus is a bunch of whites yelling at a few blacks ala James Meredith at Ole Piss

Then shouldn't they strike against Obama?

Why would a bunch of black football players want to maintain funding for an organization whose main purpose is killing black babies?

Doesn't make sense. Of course, it also doesn't make sense to think you have any leverage when you're 1-5 in the conference

Mizzou also tore down graduate housing/daycare when a fireman was killed after a walkway fell on him. They set land aside to build New housing and daycare but developer wanted the job.

Saw an article where the students were gonna protest after the msu game but didn't because of drunk white people. Wow

Gee, I just don't know why these black players would ever think others might be racist towards them

Exactly.

It's funny seeing everyone chime in, mostly to say to kick them off the team, when I'm guessing most or even none of them knew any of the issues before yesterday. I know I didn't.

And you'd be gone within 2 days if you said that, well thought out plan.

if Missouri caves to their demands it will set a precedent that will be hard to stop. They need to let them strike one game, jerk the scholarships Monday morning and then release a press statement that has only one work.."NEXT"

Is his buyout really $20 million?

No reason to expel them. Just yank their schollies for the remainder of the academic year if they're not willing to hold up their end of the bargain. If they can still pay their own way they can stick around as regular students. If not, come back one year.
