No. You're thinking of Bill Brown.

Milo was the radio play by play man of the Astros for many many years

Chronicle

one of those "I remember growing up listening to ______ call games on the radio." He is Astros baseball on the radio to me.

"Holllly Toledo, what a plaayy!!"

RIP Milo. I saw him a few months ago sitting outside the stadium and he looked bad. I said hey Milo and he smiled.

The only time I got any Astros coverage was from FSSW when at ULL for Grad School. Only three guys I listened to on radio was

Scully
Buck
Steiner

My favorite Milo line:

"swinging, lining it to left. ITS GONE!! ITS GONE!! ITS GONE!!! Chris Burke! HOLY TOLEDO! What a way to finish!"

Sad day for Braves fans too. He called 715 for Hammerin' Hank.

An enviable career. He will always be a part of my childhood listening to the games on the radio with my pops. RIP milo, and hopefully the stros can win one for the old man tonight.

Anybody else remember standing in front of the press boxes on the club level during the 7th inning stretch while Milo and Ashby threw out cards, peanuts and cracker jacks? Good times.

I remember that. I got a bag of peanuts and a small autograph picture.
