So, they can pay him to sit on his arse, but not rehab.

Brilliant.

no. the ongoing saga between club and country in regards to player health will remain only at the level of bitching and sour grapes.

if the starting 11 consists of your "A Squad," then yeah, you have to step up. I like that Bradley went for the group win instead of being complacent.

Morons, they accepted potential injuries when they release him to play for his country. Dumbass Italians. They're just sour because their team this years is horrendous, and anything bad that happens is just cause to pass blame.

Bob and Sunil will spit all over Galliani and Berluscone.

He's playing for his country.

And frick Milan. (full disclosure. I hate those frickers)

OK, that part's out of the way, I'll go back to my initial statement: He's playing for his country. Period. Full stop.

I'm with you. I really don't like Milan as a club. Pretty lame move

So are all the games until the first game in S. Africa in June. You can't sit all your starters until then.

Here's my question: Does Milan complain as much when one of their Italian players gets hurt playin for the Azurri?

Ehh...not true. FIFA mandates that teams release players for international duty for dates on the international calendar, of which Wednesday was one. They face major sanctions and bans if they refuse to release players.

FIFA really tied the clubs' hands on this, and I do feel bad for them when players get hurt.

Milan should probably be more worried about their chairman sexually harassing any woman under 200 pounds.

True, but those other clubs don't sue when their players get injured.

Just in case I wasn't clear earlier: frick Milan.
