I can't believe Edwin Encarnacion has 40 jacks.

What do they put in the water in Toronto?

He's down just 4 to Hamilton. Miggy could just as easily have a 3 HR game and get close in the matter of a day. Likely, maybe not, but possible, certainly.

He has a chance if the Rangers are able to close out the division before the last week. It depends on how the Rangers do on their first head to head match up with the A's. If they close it out, then I expect Hamilton will sit the last few games or play a lot less innings.

But you're also depending on the other 3 guys to not get hot. It's possible but unlikely.

They will still likely be playing for the best record in the AL and home field throughout til the World Series

You obviously didn't read someone refer to Hamilton as "Hambone" above if you think Miggy is the dumbest name of all time.

Hamilton has 6 HRs in September, so he is still hitting at a solid pace. The next 3 games for Hamilton are in LAA where he has put up decent power numbers for his career.

I don't think the division will be decided until the last series, so he will be playing everyday from here on out. It will be close.

Some crazy good numbers at 3rd base in the AL this year, with Cabrera and Beltre and Wright in the NL.

But he also has 3 other guys besides Hamilton in front of him.

He has a better chance of not finishing 1st in any of those 3 categories
