Agreed. The Rockets were successful last year because they have many shooters that opened up spacing for Harden to work. A player like Melo blows that plan to pieces.

Bosh, Wade, and LeBron weren't like that before they got together. Bosh and Wade took a backset to LeBron and they all had to change their game. Before they became as efficient as they were.
Same story here. Russ can't be the MVP we saw last year and Melo needs to learn to pass. The question is who is going to be the bell cow?

Melo was almost identical to Ryan Anderson at spot-up threes.

How people don’t see the upgrade from Kanter to Melo is beyond me.
Melo can now just stand in the corner if he wants and be wide open. Go watch the Olympics if you wanna see a version of that. Or can post up and kick out to Russ and PG.
Melo’s not an idiot. This is clearly a “I want a shot at a title and I’ll try to make it work move”. We knew his intentions when he tried to go to Houston where he also would have been the 3rd option.

Lol adams >>>> kanter. Melo gives okc way more scoring options. Okc has 2nd best roster in the west. We will see how it plays out. Melo seems determined.

Really??? This does not make the Thunder better in any way on defense.... come on dude.... they may win 3-5 more games than last year, plus it will take away from what Westbrook does....

Ain't gonna lie I wanted Melo as a Rockets fan but I think this is a weird fit. Russ dominates the ball. George and Melo, especially Melo, need the ball in their hands. They have talent. We will see how they fit. Still think they are a 4 seed.
