I love your passion for your team...... but adding Melo is not the answer to beating the Warriors.....

Boomy the only chance for this to really work is for CP3 to primarily handle the ball and set the other guys up for more efficient looks than they are used to. But we know James needs the ball and especially so given his ability to draw fouls as this is his best trait. So it will be interesting to watch

The defense will be atrocious though

It a strange way the CP3 / Harden fit is similar to the AD23 / Boogie fit

Y'all said that last year and it wasn't true.

Does replacing Ryan Anderson at the 4 with Carmelo Anthony make their defense worse? No. Anderson might be the worst defensive 4 in the league. Carmelo at the 4 on defense isn't terrible.

Replacing Beverley with Paul is a wash. And replacing Lou Williams with PJ Tucker is obviously a defensive upgrade.

So if anything, the defense should improve from their 16th ranked defense this past season.

The Rockets could land LeBron and Curry, and the MSB wouldn't like the move. I'm just excited that my Rockets are taking chances and trying to challenge the greatest team in NBA history.

Next year, the Rockets will be America's team.

I don't even think D'Antoni knows the answer to that yet. This team will probably be experimenting until New Year's.
You could be right. Will be very interesting to watch unfold. Y'all are gonna be so fun to watch next season.

No it isn't because Paul and Harden are both facilitators who can handle the ball, pass, and score. They are versatile on offense.

Boogie and Davis are not facilitators and need other players to make the offense work.

It's true. Eric Gordon won 6th Man of the Year this season, and when you look at the threads from that move, you would have thought the Rockets signed a D-Leaguer.

Melo for Ryno is a no brainer and as someone who doesn't want to see Houston succeed in getting better, it's annoying some jackass team would consider Ryno.

Good for Houston if they pull it off. Melo still has gas in the tank.

That was obviously an exaggeration. But the point still stands. Most people in this board want the Rockets to suck. So they look at every move Houston makes negatively.

He's not wrong. Should we pull up the thread where Harden was traded to the Rockets? Everyone was saying Houston got "trade raped" by the Thunder.

Rockets get Dwight? Everyone says he's a cancer and they will be a first round exit team. They reach the WCF.

Sign Gordon and Anderson? LMAO Pelicans rejects! Defense will be terrible! Won't work!

Trade for Chris Paul? MSB says it's not gonna work.

May get Carmelo Anthony? MSB says the team will implode.

I can't think of a single singing or trade where the consensus was the Rockets got better.

Go on record now. You're saying defense will be improved from last year, or stay the same?

most people would probably laugh at bringing in melo. there would absolutely be rocket fans on here laughing at the idea of the clippers bringing in melo
