Right now the trade is centered around Brandan Wright and draft picks heading to Boston for Rondo.

Guess Boston is ready to move on from Rono

If Rondo went to the Mavs, they would be my favorite team of all-time.

Rondo, Ellis, and Dirk

He'd be a great fit in Dallas, not gonna lie.

Rondo, Ellis, Parsons, Dirk and Chandler might be the best starting five in the league.

I'd be sad to see wright go. this is the first year I feel like he's improved by leaps and bounds. but Rondo with Nelson backing up would be lethal.

good lord

Rondo is my favorite player, so I can't agree with you.

That would be nasty.

It would take them until late in the season to gel together, but once they did gel holy shite

I hope Parsons isn't offended that the Mavs want a third star after Dirk and Monta.

How would Rondo/Monta fit together?

They're 2 ball dominant guards.

Rick Carlisle would get him to buy in. He is a great coach and I think it would be an excellent move for the Mavs.

I would love the trade. Wright has been great and I really like him on the Mavs, but pg is definitely our biggest need for an upgrade and Rondo should help us on both ends. He needs to be a little bit more selfish when he gets good looks, but I think Carlisle will be good for him.

I hate Rondo and don't really see him as a good fit on many good teams nowadays, but I've always thought if he went to a team with a great coach it could work. Only 3 coaches I really think could make it work with him: Pops, Doc, and Carlisle. Guess that would make Dallas a pretty good destination for him.
