Romo is not a very good QB.

This is the way to show up in a thread with a reasonable discussion and prove how intelligent you are.

The problem with that is Matt Flynn looked good yesterday just like Rodgers has. He's already being branded a "system" QB.

I wouldn't take offense to it Peej. didn't you say yourself that he was unproven and could be a Kolb etc? And I'm not of the thinking that Flynn will be a terrible QB, but it is funny given what he's proven that people think he can already fill a top 5 or even 10 guys shoes, and right away.

Yes I did and he should stay in GB with a chance to win an SB every year. This DOUCHE is just a little kid from Ohio that is still hurt that his team got burned by LSU in 2007. Thats all.

Flynn may very well be good but more times then not it doesn't work out when the backup QB gets a starting gig.

Why stay behind in GB.? Flynn already as a ring. He should get paid. If it doesn't work out, he can ride out his career as a backup somewhere else.

He made a valid point and you bring up a college football game from 4 years ago. Yet he is the one that needs to grow up?

Jerry Jones is the problem because he can't evaluate talent. I'm guessing some of his scouts can't either. Their drafts suck and when draft after draft leaves you with players who can not play, you get the Dallas Cowboys. There are way too many holes to fill: OL, DL, secondary. The only strong points on the Cowboys are linebacker. There is a question everywhere else.

QB - Romo is good but I'm not convinced he's the championship caliber type.

RB - Jury is out. I think Murray has lots of potential. They also need to upgrade and start using a true FB.

WR - Dez is a head case and even though he has flahes of greatness, I'm not sold. They're better than average.

OL - Needs major overhaul.

DL - Probably the most disappointing part of this team this year. No pressure on the QBs at all.

CB and safeties - Major overhaul

It's obvious Jerry wants things to work out SO bad so he can get credit. If he truly wants to build a winner in Dallas, he has to step aside. I thought when he hired Parcells things might get better. When Jerry signed TO, that relationship was on the downhill slide. Parcells always referred to TO as the 'player' - never by name. Polian is available. Call him Jerry. He probably couldn't do any worse - even though he's overrated.

I've often thought that Romo would do better in a smaller market/less glamorous team like Seattle or something similar. He's a great player IMO but his personality doesn't seem to fit with that circus. Almost like he thinks he has to do too much.

Neither was Aaron Rodgers til February of last year or Drew Brees until February of of 2010.

Really? the FB was one of our brightest positions on offense. When him and Murray were both healthy, we dominated for a better part of 7 weeks. And last night he made a few very big plays and nice blocks.....but Murray has to stay healthy and Felix can't be the number 1 guy, but he works perfectly as a complimentary back.

Everything else. Hell yes.

Fiammetta is weak and can't be depended on to stay healthy. If he were more stable, then I'd say keep him. He never gets a carry and can't pound it. If a FB dive with a RB fake toss could work, we need to use it because the offense needs all the help they can get. Murray is the key like you said. I think he has a huge upside.

Do people realize how bad our drafts have been? It's staggering to see what the Cowboys' picks have done.

Everyone with the name of Jones in the front office, need to relinquish their duties and just stay in their luxury box.

Hire a good General Manager.

Defensive backfield is horrible, especially the corner backs.

Haven't any of you ever been employed in a position where the owner/management, for whatever reason, couldn't pull it together, and it affected your overall performance, happiness, earnings or job satisfaction? I have, and leaving for me was the best thing to happen. I ended up going to a competitor who put together all the right support. I tripled my income. The other company is still floundering trying to pull it together.

I'm just saying, for Romo, a change of scenery might be the best thing for him and the Cowboys. If Romo is disallusioned and tired of making the effort while Jerry continues to fiddle with things and Jason keeps pretending to be a head coach, then he might get renewed somewhere else. Converesely, if Romo's head isn't straight, he'll never lead this team out of the morass it finds itself and the Cowboys might benefit by bringing in someone who has potential and is eager for the opportunity.

Yeah, I'm not arguing that it won't be good for Romo(although if he went to a shite team it wouldn't be all that great for him) but I know for a fact, this isn't good for the Cowboys. At all.

I think as far as fullbacks go, he's one of the better ones in the league.
