Dude has a fine wife, long golf game and the raw talent to win in the PGA Tour. The back 9 on Thursday wiped him out - yet he still T4.

All that said, he needs a caddy change. I know that sounds harsh but he needs a seasoned pro that can help with game mamangment and reading of the greens.

His caddy is his younger brother.

I am sure his brother is on his bag to make sure he is not snorting his talents away...at least that is what I read...his brother is his support system.

Did his caddie give him some bad reads?

I mean, FMFP had his wife on the bag. Why not keep it in the family?

I think he needs a Steve Williams type person on the bag - someone that can take him by the shoulders, look DJ in the eye and give good counsel on the course.

Ok - I thought he was clean and rolling forward - if he is still having problems, maybe the brother is the best thing for him.

He can at least get some putting lessons.

Agreed and have said that since he hired his brother.

And his brother might be a solid caddy. But I think DJ would over rule him on some decisions throughout a round. He needs a seasoned caddy and someone that he wil listen to.

He needs to go puttputt. If you can deal with the windmill everything else is easy!

A couple of the putts he missed seemed like he just straight put too much into the putt. I know he had one (can't remember the hole) where he definitely hit it just a little too hard and it came off the lip. I don't know if that's necessarily a caddy issue as much as it is a stroke issue?

But if his brother is on his bag to keep him clean then that likely outweighs any putting issues.

DJ needs to quit the PGA tour and just hustle money on driving ranges.

If the guy could improve his putting by half, he'd probably be #1 in the world. That shot he hit on #15 yesterday was incredible.

I read that he likes making his own decisions and doesn't want other input on the course. Thats why he has his brother on the bag.

DJ is by all accounts an athletic phenomenon. He lacks brains. This guy lost Chambers Bay and played with Gretzky and his buddies the next day with no show of emotion that he dropped a major.

He basically does his own stuff on the course. Bobby Brown worked for him when he had the lead at the Open at Pebble and when he grounded his club at Whistling Straits. Bobby is a good caddie (although he should've asked the official what the deal was in that bunker before DJ got into it). Austin is essentially there to carry the bag and keep Dustin straight and focused.

T-4 in the masters with my little bro as my caddy?

I would be thinking life is pretty great. Not that I need to fire my little brother for some guy I don't know.

He just needs someone to teach him to putt.

What he needs is a putting stroke that will hold up under pressure. He has everything else. But Sunday, his stroke was awful. Deceleration big time.
