Personally I think it would be good for the game if a Big 12 or Pac 12 team were to come out make the playoff and surprise either an Ohio State or Alabama.

Alabama and the SEc constantly winning the NC may be cool for bragging rights but after a while you won't have anyone west of the Mississippi really all that interested

Despite playing him dozens of times in 4 different decades, Maryland never beat Joe Paterno.

Maryland has 3 wins in 45 games, two of the wins were against James Franklin.
