Just noticed he made contact with the old lady to the left. I never noticed this before, but she is pushed inadvertently while pulling his arms up to push the guy.

The fan obviously said something while Smart was on the ground which caused him to jump up and get in his face, then the fan started smiling and said something else then he pushed him.
Obviously no player should push a fan over words. But I'm curious to see what he said

This wasn't a very intelligent move by Marcus Smart. As players, you are held to a higher standard than spectators. At what point, though, do we hold fans accountable for their actions as well?
I've heard rumblings that this isn't a first 'incident' involving this same fan. I'm not sure when it was, but he apparently gave the universal 'up yours' sign at A&M at the end of the first half during a game between the two teams.
