Whatever you do, do not pick SMU to win the first round.
I think the Final Four is
Oklahoma
Xavier/UNC (Xavier will get screwed somehow)
Maryland
Michigan State

UNC vs Kansas Natty...
MICH ST and Oklahoma or Maryland will round out the rest of the final 4....
Carolina is legit this year and when healthy no one can stop them.
Maryland is as good as Melo is gonna be...if he has an off night, they lose. Xavier is not the real deal...they are gonna be bounced 1st or 2nd round.

Yes, because we have no clue who plays who. I've been fretting all day on who to choose.

Hard to tell without a bracket.

After watching that LSU-Texas A&M game last night I really think the Aggies can make a run

UNC and maryland will be in my final 4, unfortunately

There is no team that is completely dominant and wants to separate themselves from the rest of the field. Will be an exciting March filled with upsets.

Just saying in general. Never seen a year before where a #1 team is an underdog on the road to an unranked team or seeing top 10 teams get beat with ease like this.

Agree, this year has been wild. Tons of upsets in the OOC games, and now in the conference games, just about every game seems to be a toss up

After this crazy year it will probably end up being chalk.
Either that or UCONN will win. One of the two.

Heard a show on satellite radio the other day and they all agreed that there are 20 teams this year that could win it all because there are no dominant teams but many really really good ones. March madness this year will be just that, Madness.

The Big XII tournament will be must see tv this year.
You got 6 teams that could win it easily then who knows what Tubby pulls out his arse this year.
The American will be good also, UConn, UH, Memphis should all be in the Semi's (I would bitch about SMU but wont help)
The SEC is going to be interesting UK in Nashvegas is almost unbeatable (Not Catlanta level though)
B1G will be a great tourney also, 2 possible FF teams with IU and Purdue sneaking around
Pac-12 is dependent on which Ucla and USC team shows up, if not it will be a walk for Arizona.
The Big East will be a great tourney with Xavier, Butler, and Providence. But Georgetown looks like they have figured it out also.

UNC will continue to get better and better. They played as bad as they're going to play this Saturday and still beat State.

No way this years tourney is chalk. Not any dominate teams. I can see Cinderella making it to the Final 4 with a couple of high seeds.

I cant figure the ACC out at all.
UNC should win it, but Duke and Louisville are good enough. Wake if they get the right draw can end up in the Semi's, they have that Forward who can take over a game. NCS and Syracuse are just so inconsistent.

UNC is the most talented and maybe the deepest. They still have lapses defensively, but they look like the favorite at this point. But they are by no means dominant, yet. Teams like OU or Iowa St could give them problems, and KU seems to have their number. Basically, the Big XII may stand in their way.
But the tourney is all about matchups, takes some luck with teams getting knocked off to make the path easier.

And again last night. WVU goes down against Texas and MSU loses at home to Nebraska. Not to mention that Baylor was pushed to two OTs and Villanova only won by a point over Seton Hall. This is the craziest season I've ever seen by far.

quote:I'd argue their front court is the best in the country with Farr and Reynolds. Yeah they lost to a meh Georgetown team at home but they've been extremely impressive outside of that.
Xavier is not the real deal
Especially considering some games UNC and others have played
