He may have a little. Certainly not worthy of getting called by NBA standards though. But you said he switched his pivot foot. Which leads me to believe you dont know anything about basketball.

But I guess your're perfect and know every rule in the NBA. You can go fist yourself. Hop off your high horse because you are a fricking jackass.

His pivot foot is his left foot. That foot comes off the ground clearly before his right foot comes off the ground. You are wrong; this is a travel. Had both feet left the ground at the same time, no travel.

If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor

its probably a travel by the slimmest of margins which makes it not a travel in the nba. Can probably find a worse travel on the possession right before the gif.

The more I watch it the more confident I am that it isn't a travel.

There is no travel, unless you think he slid his pivot foot(which is never called). The picking up of the pivot foot is completely legal, which is what most people in here are calling traveling

Technically, it was a travel.

He can put his right leg forward and jump off of BOTH feet... but he picked up his left pivot foot and jumped off of his right foot when he shot it.

Technically, that is a travel. But at regular game speed it would be very difficult to call that. It would be ticky-tack on a shot like that.

Yeah, if he's in the air. If his other foot that is not the pivot foot is on the ground with his pivot foot off the ground, then it's a travel.

Not if he shoots or passes before his pivot foot touches the floor again

what? no that's wrong. Gasol probably did just barely travel.

If a player has one foot on the floor or lands with one foot first to the floor, he may only pivot with that foot. Once that foot is lifted from the floor to shoot or pass it may not return until the ball is released.
