Who do you think wins this match up?

Butler was saying how his dream has come true about matching up with Julio.

Butler is 5-10

Jones is 6'3

If Ryan throws high jump balls, I believe Butler is no match for Julio.

Also Jones would be able to beat Butler on vertical routes with Jones being faster.

How do you guys feel?

They won't line Butler up man to man with Julio. He would get destroyed.

The Patriots aren't dumb enough to leave Julio in 1v1 coverage often.

That Belichick's defenses have overcome more difficult challenges than a 4" height difference for a DB.

There are 10 other guys on the field.

Pats will likely double team Julio. I was just going by Butler stating he finally gets is dream of facing Julio.

Julio will probably see a variety of looks, mostly double coverage, with either Logan ryan or Eric rowe covering with Dmac over the top

The Patriots just took out the best receiver in the NFL a week ago. I think they can handle Julio with a similar game plan.

We'll see this matchup later in the game I believe. The falcons are too balanced. Shading Julio means you're going to hemorrhage yards elsewhere. I think in the second half, at least on first and second downs, they're going to have to play him straight up. This is when the falcons need to take their home run cuts. Butler will win some battles because he's a good corner, but Julio can house one at anytime and it's always a gamble playing him in man coverage. We'll see. I just think that the patriots are going to be forced to play him straight up and hope that butler can "do his job." They have a lot of confidence in him

Julio and Brown are completely different players. The steelers with Williams as the bellcow is also a completely different animal than the two headed monster Atlanta has in the backfield. Then you have Sanu and Gabriel to deal with. Julio has been mitigated a few times this season, when teams choose to do that they get shredded by someone else

Only jump ball route is the end zone fade. There's no way atl throws it at midfield so all the other defenders react to the ball.

Pats double team Julio all they want. Who's covering Taylor Gabriel, Jacob Tamme, and Mohammed Sanu?

It's a good take. If Pittsburgh couldn't make the Patriots play Brown straight up, though, I think the Falcons will have similar problems.

Their style of play differences are irrelevant to the scheme the Patriots played last week against Brown. Whether the Falcons's running game will be more effective such that they can't employ that scheme remains to be seen.

I think Pittsburgh has the best offensive weapons in football.

Maybe, but they don't have the best offense.

Well that's pretty silly. Atlanta's supporting receivers have been more dangerous and Coleman/Freeman>>>>>>Deangelo Williams. Bell barely played last week

That probably sounded like a much more intimidating lineup in your head
