I figured he'd go 3 years at most, so this is no surprise. And it was an epic failure just as I said it would be

The were 3-27 in conference this year. In the Southland. A .100 winning percentage

That is almost impossible.

Complete failure.

Don't know what anyone was expecting, he had been out of coaching since the 80s

I don't see any way this happens but this would probably be another disaster

who can win there? in any sport?

through no fault of their own the state has effectively killed their athletic program just by fostering uncertainty over UNO

I don't think anyone would be winning there right now, but there was little to no improvement from the previous few seasons where they had almost no scholarship players

that the sports still exist means they're BSing students on the budget cuts... they must not be that bad if they can afford 250+ RPI basketball and baseball programs

Blake dean - name sounds familiar; who is he?

I don't know what they can do. It's sad. The had a proud baseball and basketball program into the 1990s.

With the baseball players in LA, MS, and TX, they should always be middle of the pack. They have a decent stadium.

Both are just pathetic at sports.

A lot different for public vs private schools

Plus Tulane is going to be good at baseball with David Pierce, just brought in a nice recruiting class in basketball and has been improved with the new football coaching staff
