The crop of RBs in college football right now is absurd. I can't remember a time when the position was this stacked.

List your top 5 in order. I'll take a stab:

1. Dalvin Cook*
2. Leonard Fournette
3. Nick Chubb
4. Derrick Henry
5. Ezekiel Elliot

High Honorable Mention:
Samaje Perine

I'm sure the defenses that each faced were similar as well.

We will wait and see if Cook can get 180 against Florida or 200 against Syracuse. I'm not sold on a RB who's toughest test has been Miami or Louisville.

Not sure what you're getting at here. Syracuse doesn't have a good defense.

They are pretty solid against the run, tbh.

No point in arguing with you, though.

He got 144 last year on 24 carries.

Have you seen him play? Serious question.

54th in the country per S&P.

Why's that?

Because you're a troll and can't hold a conversation worth taking time to type

42nd in rushing yards per game, and 41st in yards per carry.

They'd be 13th in the nation in yards per carry if you take out the game where they faced the best running back in the nation.

He's definitely a workhorse. Prosise deserves some mention.

Like I said, you want to compare running backs then wait and see how he does against common opponents. If he does better than LF then that speaks for itself. Everything else is just opinion.

Great analysis.

Here's the deal: if you're dismissing the notion that Dalvin Cook might be the best back in the country as ridiculous and something from a troll, then you haven't seen Dalvin Cook play. If my Dalvin Cook position is necessarily troll-like, then i don't have any idea what a troll is.

All I've done is made a case for Cook with facts, not hyperbole. if you believe Fournette to be clearly superior, that's a perfectly acceptable position to take. Just make the argument.

Last year Florida was coached by boom and FSU had Winston, not golson at qb... What I'm saying is I totally expect similar results with all the variable changes.
