A guy who went 44 - 5 and won three conference championships in the college game in the second-most difficult conference in the country hasn't earned it compared to Muschamp and Kiffin?

Let's just forget everything he did at Oregon

I want to remind everyone that Jim Tomsula is an NFL head coach

don't think Lane kIffin is highly desired anymore. His schtick is over. Chip kelly was a legitimate college HC and won't have a problem finding a new job.

He also has a 26-21 NFL record. It's not like his NFL tenure is a complete failure.

How many coaches go 26-21 and get fired? Don't love kelly as a head coach in the NFL but people love to hate on the guy because of his philosophy and attitude.

As assistants

Jeff Fisher has to be on the list. He's like .500 for his career and people talk about him like he's a hall of fame coach. He also sticks around forever and never wins.

Gruden.
Not because he hasn't earned it, it's just that ESPN claims him as one of the greats.

and does the brief time where people thought Sumlin would leave for the NFL count?

Gruden
His career achievements are similar to Brian Billick.

I'm still puzzled as to where Tomsula came from.
"Who?"

As head coaches? I don't think so.

I'd throw Josh McDaniels on that list too. He's probably going to get another HC gig in the league.
