Give the Zachary fans time to get home from Scotlandville and the thread will pick up with all the excuses of why they lost:

-Refs took it from them
-Scotlandville cheated
-Zachary beat themselves

No way in hell that's right. Score is flipped. I also got a text that Barbe beat Carencro 41-37

Dutchtown 20 EA 14 final. Goalline stand by dt to end game.

Hard fought game. Officiating was horrible, and I was on the winning side. EA got down to the 1 only because of a ridiculous blow to the head call.

EA killed DTHS all night on the sweep, and then on 4th and goal from the 1 they ran up the middle. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

DTHS gets two byes the next weeks--AKA McKinley and Woodlawn. Probably sets up a Catholic at Dutchtown district championship game week 10.

Elton beats Hamilton Christian 34-14

Had a great show of sportsmanship late in the 4th qtr. One of the Elton players went down with a cramp and a HC player went over and started stretching him out. Guy could have walked off the field but instead he helped. Great job by that young mans parents and coaches

That score is transposed

Pretty sure it was
Barbe 41
Carencro 37

It was 37-31 and Barbe kicked a 4th qtr FG and then got a TD for the win

Barbe won. Was down 20-0 at one point. Good show of heart, but I still don't know if their D is good enough to make it to the Dome, much less win.

Cro runs WingT and were playing at home

Barbe is the better team but their D will probably fail them in the playoffs

I don't think their D can get off the field vs Rummel and WM. They'll pound them and keep their offense on the sidelines.

STM beat them by running the football
Bergeron had four TD passes but it was all set up by the run

Barbe's front seven is quick but small and they will struggle with a power running team

However they can score like WVU and get you out of your running game by falling behind
Quinn is the best route runner in HS I have ever seen
