Catholic driving and throws it up and it's intercepted! Gators win 21-14! 6-0 on the year!

St Amant is better this year than last. Just watched the game and their defensive line is much improved and their quarterback is also a stud. A lot of depth it looks like.
I was listening to ruston game and ruston self mutilated itself with a botch punt at their own 7 yard line just about all but handing the lead back to west monroe after tying it early in the third. It was over then.

That is a shocker without question. Union always with a score in district that makes you go, "what?".

Wait until you see the “hold” that brought back a 60 yard TD WM’s 2nd play. One of the worst calls I’ve ever seen. Berry is blocking and no one would say this was a hold. Another Ruston defender runs into the Ruston CB. They both go down. They call Berry for holding.
Thought we might have an LSU/Mississippi State type turn of momentum there. WM ends up punting and Ruston scores.

I really didn't think they would because they lost a lot from last year. Hayden Mallory, the QB from last year, is better than this years QB in my opinion but our QB tonight played one hell of a game. I was impressed with him and the defense is very good this year. St Amant shouldn't lose another regular season game this year so it will be interesting to see how they do in the playoffs and what they're ranked at the end of the year

Rummel 24
Holy Cross 25
Final 2 OT
I saw little red flags in the Riverside and Tuerlings highlights. This Rummel team may not be as good as I originally thought.

They were ranked 4th going into tonight's game. They jumped up big time after the win last week.

I didn't see it, but heard the call. Slade read the read perfect. Also, Ruston was very poor outside as I figured they would be as they lack a lot of speed in their front 7.
Both teams seemed to miss open receivers from the sound of it on the radio also. Nerves, jitters. For west monroe they won't be any higher in 3 in power rankings. With covington winning a huge game against st Paul tonight they solidified number one with acadiana solid at 2. If I am WM I want to fall to 4. No way in H-double-hockey-stick do I want to go down to acadiana in a semifinal matchup.
Outside that call you mentioned seemed the calls went pretty fairly both ways. Ruston with a huge pass play there at one time that was called back on a hold themselves. Refs were active tonight for sure.
What was Baugh doing running a double reverse from the 7 yard line there? Lol.

Sportsline has WM #1 in final rankings. We just beat #4 or 5. Neville won’t lose again. BTW has put up 63 every game since playing WM. Just need Wossman to win some games.

The Ruston - West Monroe game was as expected. Very hard fought, well played and not decided until late in the 4th. Ruston is a quality team and could make some noise in the postseason. West Monroe's DT Dalvin Hutchinson had a huge game, but if Ruston had connected on just a couple of long passes attempted the outcome would have been different. 28-14 WM was the final, hope they don't meet in the playoffs unless it's in the title game.

Neville isn't beating this Bastrop team with that offense and those secondary players I saw last week. Neville stinks. I'll take Bastrop in that game.
I don't understand enough about the full schedule ranking that are done enough to make an accurate comment.
Does it assume that all the teams will win their next game when calculating that formula?

Idk how they do it honestly.

Richwood's defense is the best we have faced other than Airline. We made some mistakes and the Refs were horrible. I think they just got tired of calling holding on Richwood because they held every play. Our o-line is our weakness, if we can't get outside we can't move the ball.

Landry Walker isn't losing to Ehret either. Those two losses by those two teams along with noxubee stinking the joint up in mississippi isn't helping. Wossman isn't winning another game against union, sterlington, etc.. maybe I'm reaching but it seems like it is pretty safe to bet they won't be #1 with that lineup. BTW is the only saving grace. You need LW to lose next week and Neville to beat Bastrop at Bastrop.
It would not surprise me if neville got beat next week down south at Franklinton. I expect a high scoring game there for sure.
WM and Acadiana will duke it out for that #2 spot back.

Who has Covington beat to deserve #1 seed? Acadiana I can see, they’ve played some really good teams. I don’t see the big signature wins for Covington to end up #1 when it’s all said and done.

I thought the same thing when I did the PR myself. They played some schmos that werent great but played weak teams themselves to pad their records. So covington whips a team that then whips other teams. Records are inflated
Covington winning tonight against St Paul was their best win by a large margin and St Paul has only lost to Karr who has one loss to an undefeated DeLaSalle team along with a powerhouse from tennessee who us undefeated. The power ranking is a joke to me, but it is what they use.
It will be close but a lot of factors will go into the end result. Covington to me looks to be sitting pretty after their win tonight already ahead by a large margin.

Maybe the team that beat Rummel tonight comes to mind. Dutchtown is solid and now St. Paul another solid team. It’s the district that we play in that hurts this year. Ponchatoula(which we beat), Mandeville, St.Pauls, and Covington are usually the contenders. This Covington team can score points with anyone but I’m afraid the defense will put them out when they play the West Monroe’s and Acadiana’s. Power rankings are what we have and right now they are #1. Is what it is.
