What exactly is IMG academy? Is this a diploma factory like Oak Hill?

An athletics factory that doesn't have to worry about playin no school. They go around the country to Nike combines and such to steal kids from local high schools and put them up in dorms somewhere down in Florida.

I'm sure there is some "school" set up, but I can promise it won't be winning any blue ribbon seals.

I saw where the Baylor women's basketball team had signed two girls from IMG last year, ironically both were from the Dallas area before attending IMG. It's like the Bolliteri Tennis Academy years ago; train all day in your sport and take a few courses in your spare time.

Public schools in Texas have said they won't play IMG going forward. It would be good if Louisiana schools would do the same.

Warren Easton at Riverdale tonight in my back yard will be ugly. I may try to go watch that one.

Crusaders play at Sulphur tomorrow night. Folks from SW LA what can y'all tell me about Sulphur? How good are they? What will we see?

We might have one game at most against IMG so it's a non-issue...

Not often the Livingston Parish team gets to say they're the better "Walker"...

Byrd has been hit hard by injuries. Both the starting QB and RB are out, IIRC.

Has anyone taken a look at the updated powerpoints for week 5?

Is Ken Ramsey on crack?

yeah ok... they ain't just 5-0, they're whooping those 5. 2 of them are 4-1

and i remember when they were the worst team in 5A. now yeah they're not beating Scotlandville or Denham or Zachary, but we'll see them in the playoffs for the first time in years

I'm sure he's talking about Rummel being so low. It's not an opinion, it's a mathematical formula.
