Chalmette hasn't scored of their own doing since the first quarter of week 1 against Slidell... we avoided the shutout tonight due to a bad Holy Cross snap out of their own end zone

final score Holy Cross 44 Chalmette 2

Offense and defense were scoring left and right. I know it's just Assumption, but the defense is stacked and nothing like the past few years. Offense is on Donta Johnson's shoulders and he can carry them without breaking a sweat.

This has got to be a low point for that team.

It pretty much is.

BTW Maddison Prep is an up and coming school. They strongly could be 2A next classification year.

Props to Ascension Christian. Won 21-20 over Ridgewood which is their first win since starting a full 10 game schedule. (They had a 27 game losing streak or something)

Destrehan will cake walk through district. Their offense is very good and their d is good. Thib will probably have trouble with Hahnville's defense but HHS wont score. No qb but with their sorry o-line Drew Brees couldnt move the ball.
