Looks like the Jackets may be the real deal this year. Lost two starting RBs in the first quarter last night and still hung 48 on Calvary.

hey whatever gets us a new coach

basketball season is coming early in my neck of the woods and the HC Tigers visit December 13th

FUN FACT: This is the first Holy Cross/Chalmette game where both teams are in class 5A

FUN FACT #2: After 1982, Chalmette led this rivalry 6-5-3. It's now 29-11-3 for Holy Cross

FUN FACT #3: The biggest win in the history of the rivalry was Holy Cross 42, Chalmette 0 in 2007. Chalmette's biggest win was 41-0 in 1978.

FUN FACT #4: The longest streaks of wins in this rivalry have been 8 for Holy Cross from 1983-1990, 6 for Holy Cross from 2004-2010 and 2 for Chalmette, done three times

FUN FACT #5: Except for 2005 when it wasn't played and 2006 when it was played at Salmen High School in Slidell, this game has been hosted by Chalmette every year since 1983. Three games have been held in the Superdome.

FUN FACT #6 The first meeting was a state playoff game in 1967.

Some solid HC-Chalmette trivia there. I wasn't around, but heard stories about a game in the mid-'70s ending in a tie because a Chalmette fan teargassed the stands and the game had to be suspended.

and we are a lot better than I thought we were going to be. barring injuries, we can make a pretty good run this year

out of Byrd, Catholic, Rummel, St. Aug, St. Paul's, and HC, D1 select might be the second most legit bracket, behind only the one John Curtis is in
