Here's the Evangel play that turned the game in case anyone didn't see it and wanted to.

Couldn't be more wrong about Curtis. At Curtis there is one rule, "everybody pays"

Yes

Not that I know of. But it's not their fault they're in 2A.

No such thing as legal athletic scholarships. So if they are waiving tuition for athletic ability then tell your principal to file an official complaint

There's no way you can truly prove that it's for athletic purposes. They just say they are offering tuition waivers for disadvantaged youth. Then it looks like you are picking on some poor kid.

How? Curtis doesn't even have scholarships. You realize a school is a business right? You really think JT has enough money to let 1/3 of his school come for free? On top of that, do you really think other non-fb parents would be okay footing the bill for the others? No. Truth is a great program was built and people want to be involved in it. That's why good kids keep popping up there.

Trust me, as someone who has had to deal with payment plans, you don't get to go there for free.

North Louisiana 5A public school and NOLA 4A public school principals. Not all of them, but enough of them with enough friends to get backwards rules pushed through.

There were probably some Catholic League principals involved as well. But I don't think all of them were.

It's 4A wanting to keep Curtis out and 5A wanting to keep Evangel out.

Shaw got busted bad for that and the LHSAA cracked down on athletic depts being involved in tuition matters

Curtis has ZERO tuition waivers. EVERYBODY pays. They don't even have a payment plan, if you have to make payments you go to a local bank and get a bank loan, they pay the curtis tuition lump sum and you pay the bank back.

So that basically leaves the equivalent of two college football teams with no scholarship limitations pounding on 2A teams. Sounds wonderful.

UHIGH player should've been more aware and credit ECA player for being heads up but...that was an incomplete pass and a bad no call by the officiating crew.
