have you seen Riverside play? I havent seen Calvary play but Riverside is the best offense ive seen of any team this year. Game would be a legit shootout, i dont think they can run over that team. Newman, i dont give a shite about. They are decent but riverside blew them out

CB/Riverside could be a great game. I've not seen Riverside, but from what I have read about them, they seem to be athletic at the skill position and have a dynamic 9th grader at QB.

Now, Calvary on the other hand....yes i've witnessed their athletic ability at the skill positions both on offense and defense. Receivers are sick, D-backs play press coverage, not 3 yards off, but on top of the line of scrimmage. They are long and lean and can fly. Patterson will likely enter next year as the 1 or 2 QB in the nation.

If Riverside is as good as Lester Earl claims they are, it's a shame the two teams are on the same side of the bracket.

edit...CB has probably 5 SEC prospects on their team. I should also state that I'm not a CB homer.....I'm actually pulling for Opelousas Catholic/CHNI to make it to the finals.

Teurlings will upset rummel

lol no.

I glad yAll are laughing. under estimate Teurling's and rummel will be in trouble. Teurling says one of the best offenses in the state and can run and throw which is a rarity in high school football. Rummel hasn't seen a quarterback like cole Kelly this year. It will be a great game but the Rebels can beat them.

....come on dude. You are seriously asking how Byrd blew out CB. In case you haven't noticed Byrd finished the year #1 and #2 in the non-select and combined 5A rankings.

In case that didn't answer your question.....the LHSAA enrollment figures from 2012 were as follows: Byrd 2,237....Calvary 301

ok, and you say that Calvary is still 21 points better than Riverside? Do you understand how horrible you must make Riverside to be?

You're acting like Calvary is good enough to be a 5A powerhouse, yet they got blown out by one. Im just trying to put the pieces together here

He didn't play the game after and had about 5 pounds of tape on his ankle the next week against WM.

No I'm acting like they are a 2A powerhouse. I never said they'd beat Riverside by 21 (actually someone else in the thread did). I'm just saying that athletically, they are a 2A powerhouse. I'll reiterate, I haven't seen Riverside and maybe they can compete just fine. Hell, CHNI took CB to the wire last year without a bunch of college prospects on the CHNI team....just a solid all around team that was well coached.

We'll see soon enough.......again no CB homer here. I'm pulling for the teams from Acadiana.

Game will be over at halftime. Zachary won't give Denham a chance this time. Probably 49-21.
