Catholic NI big over Northlake Christian, just like last year...
Then they have the luxury of facing a Bussey-less Newman or a Vidrine-less Opelousas Catholic while Calvary and Riverside have a slug fest.
CNI has it all lining up.

I'll take Mandy over Barbe in the battle of chick nicknames.

Both their ends were 6'4 280

My fear is that Salt said in the paper today "We are a triple option team again!" I hate that considering they threw the ball a bunch with the Soph QB filling in for the injured Jr starter for the last 7 weeks and because they ran well against a bad defense he's going back to run-run-run. HHS is built for a balanced offense that throws a good bit with the players they have.
Well, they ARE a triple-option team. They just happen to be one that's effective throwing the ball as well. Not sure what's wrong with the statement.

They have had issues running on good teams, he better throw the ball to open up the run.

Acadiana will give Ponchatoula a run for their money and i would not be surprised if they won. Hahnville will beat Haughton. Byrd over EA, Catholic over BM, and PBS barley over St Michaels

I remember that
We had our chances and our defense held up for 2.5 quarters. We just couldn't Shake anything on offensive. We started passing the ball way too late into that game.

Denham hosting their first playoff game since 1995...and a revenge game at that. Jackets roll.

Could certainly happen. Gonna be a great game for sure. Barbe wins soley because the game is there.

Pretty sure Bussey will play this week. Article earlier in the week said he ran on it Sunday and he'll be braced up. I'm curious to see if he gives it a go.
I'll also be surprised if Riverside puts up much of a fight against Calvary. Calvary's strength is their D backs and receivers. I think Calvary's D shuts down the Riverside receivers....just my .02

As good as Riverside is, I think it will be a huge shocker if they beat Calvary. Calvary can contend lots of different ways considering the strength of their offense and defense. Catholic NI should have beat them last year, and at the very least provided a blue print on how to do it with 2A talent. You've got to control the ball and time of possession, then hope to still be around in the 4th quarter and see what happens. Basically play Calvary like Les Miles would haha.
