So its BM vs Scotlandville in Hammond correct?

No confirmed Scotlandville score, but most likely.
ETA: The word from Conlin is that Scotlandville won.

LHSAA Boys Basketball Play-offs Quarter Finals Thread. Brother Martin wins by 7. Bring on Scotlandville.
Honestly, do they have a shot against Scotlandville?

They played St. Aug close last year in Lafayette despite having a lot less talent.
Yes, they have a chance. Their point guard is back and playing well and they are well coached.
I've got Scotlandville by 12.

Aug s playing WM tonight, anybody has a score?

The worst part is there aren't enough hotel rooms in Ruston so a lot of people are staying in Monroe and driving to Ruston for the finals
Plus the LHSAA plans on using mixed crews for boys and girls finals. For example: one reff from New Orleans, one reff from Shreveport, one reff from Lafayette. Problem with that is no one in the court will be familiar with anyone they are working with plus most associations call different ways. So do they call tighter or call more loose because of that?
If they do use mixed crews the watch hilarity ensue.

That is going to be the kicker. Each association has there way of doing things in their own way. It will def take some time for the officials to feel each other out. That's for sure.

Last Score we heard while at the Peabody game was Neville 24 Salmen 19 at halftime

I know they've been balling since the return of the pg. do they have the size to match up with the bigs of Scotlandville?

Heard Salmen lost by 1. Supposedly Salmen was up 2 and they hit a shot and the foul. Made the free throw to win 50-49
Posted on 2/28/12 at 9:06 pm to LABred08
Per Twitter Search... Neville 50 Salmen 49

Supposedly West Monroe didn't have much size compared to a team like St. Aug.
I'm sure Scotlandville's size will give them trouble, but I still think they can keep it relatively close.

Looks like someone knocked Salmen out for them.

Should be great game. It's truly a shame we can't watch all these games in once place.

Anyone know if Nach. Central won?

Yes, Natch Central wins 51-46 over Bonnabel
Posted on 2/28/12 at 9:36 pm to BayouBengals03
Yea, I am worried about Scotlandville's size. We just don't have any.
