Cry some more you fricking baby. I'm sorry the truth bothers you. You're just going to keep going no matter what, so I'm just letting you have your last word you so desparately need.

You don't think the Broncos would have played just a little differently in a 5 point or 2 point game? Seriously?

I think this is an important aspect people aren't factoring.

Enjoy the melt, folks!!!

I do love the idea of calling me a crybaby when we were discussing a topic and YOU melted, not me. Solid work there!!

You are proving my point. 2 FGs and still losing.

But you don't need a TD at that point to win, you just need a FG. Which is what I said. Which is what you clearly aren't getting.

With a different QB, maybe. But Peyton was doing nothing and you know that. Kubiak was being conservative because Peyton's arm is dead. JMHO.

You think he's just as conversative up 2 or 5 compared to up 8? Really?

What a costly mistake by Bill, he really blew this game. He had two opportunities to kick a FG but decides to go for it instead. Will he get roasted for this, or does he get a pass?

i'm not sure it was a bad decision.

Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't. But i'll take my chances, Peyton was doing shite in the second half. The Pats defense played a pretty damn good game today.

If the first one wouldn't have been 4th and 1, then I would have kicked it. Hard to kick it when you're inside the 10.

Well they weren't exactly at the 10. 6 min left, you have to trust Brady can get them back down the field. Denvers offense wasn't a threat at that point

DEN did run break off a few nice runs though.

All I'm really saying is that you take your chances, and if the game ends with Brady never getting the ball back or missing a FG while down 2, Belichick is getting crushed by putting the last 3 possessions on the kicker and not Brady.

I don't agree with your overall take, no biggie, i'm just moreso pointing out that he was in position to get crushed no matter what as long as they lost.

Exactly, I can't imagine kicking a FG in that spot, this board woulda went off.

Then the 2nd one, it was just too late in the game at that point IMO.

I bet you the odds favor kicking the FG there.

There's a guy with a blog who posts this kind of stuff with odds for NFL games, I'll look up if he has anything on this game yet

No doubt I guess the Seattle game last week taught me to take those points. That came back to haunt Seattle.

Generally I'd say yea, but you have 3 points sitting there in a close, high stake game. The risk is magnified. It's not like it was no mans land for a FG. That is a chip shot. Take your points & play D

Just hypothetical, they kick that FG, and however it happens, they never come down and score or take the lead.

You'd agree that Belichick is getting crushed for kicking on 4th and 1 from the 10, right?

i don't think he would be, honestly. Coaches rarely get chastised for doing the status quo. Most coaches kick the FG there.

I know Bill is cut from a different cloth, he likes his chances in that situation more times than not, but I dont think it was the right time do take that chance.
