If There is any flaw Lebron still has on his resume, its that he has yet to have played on a historically elite/great team.

Just think of the top 10-12 greatest players off all times, every guy in the list has played on an historically great or memorable team.

Now none of these guys have anything remotely close to a 3-1 finals deficit comeback, so maybe that balances it out but i would like to see him on one more team that wins 62-67 games.

MJ- 96/97/93 Bulls
Russell- 61 Celtics .. I'm writing all the other ones
Kareem - 71 Bucks, 85/87 Lakers
Lebron -- ?? 13 Heat ??
Wilt- 67 Sixers, 72 Lakers
Magic - 85/87 Lakers
Bird - 86 Celtics
Duncan - 14 Spurs
Shaq - 01 Lakers
Kobe - 01 Lakers
West - 72 Lakers
Hakeem -- ??
Moses - 83 Sixers
Dr J- 83 Sixers

Why in the world would the 66 win Heat team not be every bit on the level of all but a couple of those teams?

ok, this is relevant, why?

Why would the 14 Spurs go up on the list but not the 66 win Heat team?

GOATS

MJ's late 90's team? Great record, but please.

Look at the expansion and bullshite competition.

Magic and Larry were going at each other with Barkley and Jordan and Dr. J. and Kareem and Ewing and Hakeem and Dominique and it seemed like every team had 3 All-Stars.

'86-'87 was like fresh-squeezed 100% juice OJ.

Late 90's was like 5% real juice Sunny Delight.

'87 Lakers could have beaten the '86 Celtics but we will never know.

'86 vs. '86 would have been the most epic battle of all-time...but the freakin' Lakers choked to the Rockets.

Most of these teams won multiple titles, so there not many more to compare them to

I agree 100%, that said.
The best of the best Russell, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Jordan, Hakeem, didn't get to chose their teams. They made the teams their historically great, on the court with the hand they were dealt.

Lebron literally manufactured the Big 3 in Miami to get a ring, then went back to a team that had=
-between '11-'14 had the #1 overall pick 3 times
-between '11-'14 had 5 picks in the top 5.

And, by you own statement he still couldn't manufacture a historically great team.
Could you imagine Bird, Magic, or Jordan coming back from baseball going to a team that had the #1 overall pick 3 out of the previous 5 drafts.

The 12/13 Heat were one of the greatest teams of all time. I saw them in person against the Hornets and they were unbelievable to watch live.

Wait...but according to all of the LeBron haters/MJ GOAT proclaimers, the biggest knock against LeBron is that all of his teams since he joined the Heat have been STACKED with SUPERSTARS??

Look the OP is right.

No one is going to remember shite about the Cavs team unless they win a few...its only going to remember take my talents to South Beach team which will always leave a bitter taste.

I guess beating a 73 win team in the Finals isn't good enough for LeBron.

That's why I said perhaps his trump card for this argument is his 3-1 comeback.

His Heatles teams will be remembered collectively but he still doesn't have that one "memorable team."

Will we look back at the 13 Heat like we look at the 15/16 Warriors, 87 Lakers, or 86 Celtics?

You all act as if he is playing with bums. Jesus those Miami teams were super teams. Talked about daily year around. Wade/Bosh/Bron in primes. I remember just a couple years ago people talking about Kevin Love as a top 10 player now he's bum? shite. Kyrie Irving and Love are great players and Lebron knew what he was doing when he came back home.

13-14 Spurs and 14-15 Warriors are better than the 2012-2013 Heat.

Heat needed 7 games against a 49-32 Indiana team.

And needed a fluky arse shot to win the title.
