More evidence that the NBA season is 20 games too long and that LeBron is a drama queen.

We've actually struggled against teams who've rested players. Lost at home to Indiana when they were without George and Miles.

Cavs though haven't fared well when resting their key guys.

So Tim Duncan was a drama queen too?

That is a take I have never heard

Did Duncan sit out of a game because a commentator on the network broadcasting said something that hurt him?

Did any player ever do that?

They just don't want Westbrook to embarrass them on national tv

TNT should have a picture in a picture the whole game and just leave a camera on Lebron the entire game, even during commercials.

Probably not before now, because it's dumb AF. Apparently, though, LeBron is about to.

So when other players sit out, it's for rest

When LeBron sits out, who happens to be the player with the most minutes the last 5 years, it isn't about rest

Why are people freaking out about this shite. If anything, they should have been sitting out way more games in the first half of the season.

Is this a Barkley boycott?

MJ, Pippen, and Rodman never sat out a TNT game

MJ

Serious question, how many regular season games did MJ "sit out" of during his career? (Besides being out of the NBA for close to 2 seasons in the mid-90's).

Probably not many.

We know guys can do it. Hell, LEbron has more minutes at the age of 32 than any player ever, so we know there's no question about whether he can do it.

The difference is back in the day no one really rested throughout the season so everyone was on the same playing field headed to the postseason.

Nowadays, if you're NOT resting as the season goes, you're putting yourself at risk being more fatigued heading into the playoffs than every other team who is resting their star players.

Well they can fine the Lue like they fined Popovich a few years ago

The best part of that was that the media found out because some dude saw Duncan chilling at a restaurant in SA like 3 hours before the Spurs/Heat game in Miami.

From what I've read in this thread there are many who believe it's not about rest, it's about firing at TNT for Barkley's comments by trying to affect ratings.

Hate? Nah, he's a great player. However, he has become more and more of a drama queen as his popularity has grown, imo.

And what makes you think what dorks on the internet believe has any bearing on the reality of the situation?
