Lue said there was a "good possibility" that James, Irving, and Love would all sit Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Cleveland has won four straight and six of seven, and will play its third game in four nights Thursday. The Cavs beat the Indiana Pacers 132-117 Wednesday night. "When we're playing good like this guys might want to play so we'll see how they feel," Lue said.

I have no problem with any of these guys taking games off. Sitting them all at once, though, is some lame attempt to be alpha Popovich, but I'm not sure anything can be done about it.

Well they can fine the Lue like they fined Popovich a few years ago

Did Lue not report it?

The media reported it as such, but Pop was never fined for sitting players.

Whatever helps them win a championship. They have a long postseason ahead of them.

that whole thing still blows my mind. Admittedly I'm not in tune with how pro sports work, espeically not the NBA, but it's absurd to me a coach could be fined by the league for roster decisions.

I'd be pissed that I paid an inflated ticket price for the B team.

I need some help here, why would a team be sitting players in mid season, especially one struggling such as Cleve. I understand 99% of the teams make the playoffs so are we getting to the point in the NBA that the reg season literally is meaningless.

If so, maybe the season ought to be knocked down to 50 games.

I don't think LeBron has rested in over a month.

And he is still among the tops in the league this year in minutes per game.

They've won like 6 of their last 7 games.

Pop does it with good humor in mind

Tim Duncan (DNP- old)
Bruce Bowen (DNP- old)
Manu Ginobili (DNP- old)

Every media story ran with something like, "Spurs fined for sitting players"

But this is false, they were fined because they didn't alert the opponent or the media or whoever else they were supposed to report who was sitting out to.

You answered your own question.

And I think the regular season is even less important(if you can get less important than meaningless lol) to a team with Lebron James on it.
