Lebron was playing against:

League MVP Curry
3rd team all nba guard in Thompson
1st team all defensive team player in Green
2nd team nba defensive center in Bogut
one year removed all nba defensive starter in Igoudala who won MVP for supposedly slowing down the greatest finals performance ever..

BS

No other player in the history of the NBA would have won 2 games against those odds with his top two teammates out for the finals..

Does Jordan with this series without Pippen and Grant or Rodman....NO

Shaq without Kobe and any other starter....NO

Duncan without Parker and Ginobli....NO

In a losing effort Lebron stood tall as the greatest ever.. This is coming from a huge Laker and Kobe/Shaq fan.

The Cavs woulda probably traded anyone on their team not named lebron for a guy who struggled to get minutes, David Lee,

That sums it up.

They would've traded anyone on their team not named Lebron for Mo Speights.

The team picking first in the draft with Lebron would have been better than what Cleveland finished the season with.

The thing is if Lebron does anything more than shoot horribly inefficient like he did all series and make some of those barely contested layups and his free throws. We are talking about Lebron winning another championship. That's what so many people fail to see about this series. Yes Lebron put up staggering numbers and played phenomenal at times. But for as good as he played he had a ton of (not counted) turnovers because he only made 39% of his shots. If Lebron shoots 45% instead they prolly win the series. He missed almost 150 shots in a 6 game series. He averaged almost 34 shots a game and only came away averaging 35 points a game. Great performance, but if he makes better decisions and shoots better it's a whole different series.

He was double teamed on every play with or without the ball (a defense illegal in MJ's time). Who could he pass it to? There was no Pippen, Kukoc, Grant, Armstrong, Harper, Kerr, Paxson, or even Cartright or Longley on this team. By the end this was a collection of scrubs outside of Lebron.

If he gave those shots to other players, it could be worse.

If he was double teamed every play like you said then someone would be wide open. Come on now.

Half the time it was one-on-one to the basket for Lebron the whole series anyway. GS didn't double team as much as you apparently want to think. Regardless that's just good help defense. Lebron should no better than to throw up a piss poor shot hoping for a foul to be called. That's shitty basketball.

how many, of the 6 he won, do you think he still would have won, without Pippen?

Not saying he should have given them up. Simply make the layups. He missed a lot of one-on-one layups that he shouldn't have. He took a lot of bad 3's. Lebron should have sat on Iggy's knee the whole series and backed him down. He was scoring at will when he did that.

He was passing. Averaged nearly 9 assists a game. If Thompson, Dellavadova, or Shumpert could shoot better he would have averaged 12 assists and we might be going to game 7

Pippen is lucky to have Jordan. We saw what Pippen did without Jordan and it wasn't pretty. You don't remember that. It was sad and ugly, that gap in years of Bulls championships when was Jordan was away.

Didn't say he wasn't passing. Damn you're deflecting like crazy.
