Then why respond? I don't have 50,000 posts so forgive me for breaking message board protocol.

And by the way Jerry West dismisses analytics & nerds like you who believe drafting players is some Science. He believes in the " eye test" .

Not really . Magic has the job . I'm actually excited about the Lakers.

But since people bring up Magic random Twitter thoughts to disqualify him I bring up Jerry West's actual record of "talent evaluation ".

You don't have to read it nor pretend Jerry West & more " qualified" Basketball people have this down to some Science.

Magic is a proven Exec.

I don't even get where you're going with the West comparison. There is more than one team in the league fwiw.

I dislike Hill.

It's not even just the race thing. I don't like people who've never put on pads ever talking football, or people from big ten school talking football.

It's hard to tell. It is outperforming PTI vs. LY numbers.

ESPN as a whole is down due to lost subscribers from cord cutting so being down is expected.

That said, I haven't watched a second of it due to Hill. Will never watch

Like it or not @jemelehill's and @michaelsmith's ratings are doing just fine. SC6 down 9% vs last year BUT…@PTI down 16% over same period

Most people watch programs on apps. I don't watch any sports shows, never was a fan of highlights. Do people really sit around and watch highlights. I even stopped watching them on SEC network.lol.

If they would stick to covering sports, like they used to, I might actually watch it. All the other silliness I have no interest in.

The same people that love John Elway running the Broncos hate Magic running the Lakers

So, SC is down 9%, but that's okay because PTI is down 16%? That is fricking awful logic. So, if your kid is failing Algebra with a 63, do you say, "it's okay frickwad, you have a 48 in History."

Because West is a Laker great ,failed Coach as well & arguably the most successful GM of the past 35 years & is respected as such .

Yet his " talent evaluation", according to people like you & Lebatard, is just as suspect as Magic's.

He'd be back in West Virginia if Know-it-alls like you determined who's qualified or not .

Give me a list of the long-term Execs batting .1000 on transactions/ Drafts.

Probably not available for hire if they are that damn perfect.

RAC will pick up the appliances from your moms basement/ mobile home any time you please . Don't hate Magic if you're dissatisfied.

Magic Johnson Enterprises needed some pocket change for jet fuel.

When did you become so concerned for the poor? Keep it up though.

San Antonio Spurs & R.C. Buford/Pop since you want another team who have perfected the science of " talent evaluation"?

2011 NBA Draft:

1)The Spurs chose Corey Joseph at 29 over Jimmy Butler at 30.

2)The same draft the Spurs also picked some Euro guy named Adam Hanga yet to play in the NBA right before Isaiah Thomas .

The best organization now in Basketball! " talent Evaluation" Whiffed hard twice in the same NBA draft.

But , but Magic said this on twitter years ago.

I gave you the Spurs & Pop / Buford whiffing on Jimmy Butler & Isaiah Thomas in the same NBA Draft(2011)

You pick the team with the long term perfect " talent evaluaters" & I'll get off Jerry West Whiffs.
