No I just hate Lebron personally. Is that what you wanted to hear?
Trust me, it didn't need to be said :)

Also, you're allowed to take 2 steps, so taking an extra step would be 3 steps. Just answering your question from earlier.

By the way, if you remember, Laimbeer was a notorious flopper.

I couldn't agree more. I mean, almost every Forward in the league back then was 6'8", 270+ lbs

I would love to see him try him back down someone like Kevin Willis. 6' 11" 250 lbs. and built like a brick shite house.

Lebron is a great player, but there were more great players before basketball went from being a "sport that entertains" versus being what it is now, "entertainment that's sports".

LeBron has the potential to be the GOAT, but he has to earn it over time. If he has at least 4 rings 5 years from now then he might have sustained this level of performance long enough to earn it, but this is a pointless conversation to have now.

No it's not.

Any GOAT discussion must be directed towards one of two categories:
1) Peak level of play (think Alien Test)
2) Career accomplishments (think two 11 year olds reading wikipedia pages)

Trying to conflate these two very different ideas results in pages upon pages of mindless drivel that makes any participant significantly dumber for having participated.

So while you wait 10 years just so you can print out two fricking wikipedia pages and compare the contents contained therein, people who aren't abject morons will be discussing consideration #1.

Consideration #1 is the more interesting question anyway.

And, yes, Lebron is the best basketball player who has ever lived. But i'll acknowledge that it's a close call.

Really? You think there are no big players today? For all those saying Lebron couldn't have played when basketball was more physical are ridiculous. Maybe, just maybe, Lebron would have adjusted. Being physical actually suits his game better. He is a physical freak

Let me guess, you and PJ belong to a particular school of thought that goes like this:

Andrew Bynum lights up Barea.

Because it happened in 2011, Bynum is a TPOS.

But, if it happened in 1986, it's just because defenses were tougher and you wouldn't think twice of driving to the hole.

Just making sure I got this right.

This is the best statement I have read on this site. Basketball player that has addiction and gambling problem=TPOS. However, John Daly is their hero

Why try to back him down when he can face up and drive right pass him?

The guy is 3" taller than Lebron and the same weight as him. I'm sure the king would be intimidated.

The sad part is that if the guy had 50% of the competitive drive that Kobe has he would probably have 4-5 under his belt and the GOAT label because he is that talented.

Greatest of all time for those who actually know full words is Michael Jordan.

You're not going to get much argument, not much as of right now.

But if you can't acknowledge that at Lebron's current pace and career arc, this could absolutely be a debate, then I think you may be the one having issues with "full words"

That would have been called a very hard foul and a tech would have been called..........

Lebron has many years to go and yes he can surpass Michael. But the greatest winner of all time is Bill Russell.

Biggest myth in sports. Somehow tough hard basketball has turned into fundamental smothering defense. Go watch highlights or even better full games from back then. The defense was HORRIBLE.

Fact. Teams legitimately play more fundamental and more defense than the teams of decades past. I always chuckle at the dumbasses who claim the guys now would struggle against the teams of the 80s.
