I think Westbrook is already on pace to be a better player than Wade. Westbrook is a better passer and rebounder, and I think they're comparable defenders. Westbrook is a better shooter, but Wade is one of the best players I've seen when it comes to getting high-percentage looks. He's a very dominant midrange player and slasher.
Westbrook puts up crazy stats, but he's also very efficient despite a substantially lower FG% than Wade at his peak. He's been top two in PER the past two seasons, and he's proven that he can lead a team as the primary scorer and facilitator. Although both Westbrook and Wade have benefitted greatly from other dominant wings (Durant, Lebron), I think Wade benefitted more from Lebron than Westbrook has from Durant.
I also like Westbrook's toughness. Prior to that injury he got from Beverly, the guy hasn't missed very many games in his pro career. He's started every game this year, and if he starts every game for the rest of the season, it will be the 5th time in his career that he's started every game in a season. That's something Wade has never done.

this is what separates them. Westbrook's shot selection has been iffy in years past, but he's taken more shots at goal this year and less long 2pt'ers, and his efficiency has improved.

Your beloved slang term only explains 1/3 of the rebounds that occur.
Excuse me for caring about all the ways players can rebound. And not a new term that does an injustice at explaining one of the most important parts of the game after dribbling and shooting.
