Agree or disagree? My buddy and I were talking about A-Rod, and I mentioned A-Rod, Bonds, Mantle and Mays. I throw in Josh Hamilton--he agrees he's in the conversation. I throw in Larry Walker--he loses his mind.

Of course Walker didn't have even a Hall of Fame career. But sheer 5-tool, fall -out -of-bed baseball talent. I think he's up there. What sayeth the MSB?

Interesting topic. With regards strictly to pitchers, who would be top 10 talent wise? Would Dwight Gooden be in the conversation?

Larry was very talented, but got to play at coors field which help pad his stats. Just saying.

He hit over .300 in his career, won 7 gold gloves, 3 time NL batting champion, and 1997 MVP.

He was an athlete in his prime but a Top 10 athlete.. he's not.

Anyone who has played Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball on SNES would definitely agree.

Wait, what?

Very consistent hitter. .313 career average. Above average glove and solid power. Even had deceptive speed. Top 10 talent though? I don't think so.

ETA- he is HOF worthy.

He should be in the HOF. I can still hear the Coors Field announcer saying "Lar E Walll ker". Those were some fun teams with The Big Cat and Dante Bichette and those guys.

No pitchers, just position players. I'd be hard pressed to name 10 more talented. Again, not nest career, just strictly baseball talent/skill.
