Good for him. I know a lot of people, including myself, are quick to just think he's literally insane for walking away. It takes a lot to talk away from millions, the NBA lifestyle, and the pressure to be that player/person people just expect you to be. Hopefully he's able to find a happy place for himself.

Yeah hopefully he can learn to balance his life and basketball because he's a very good player.

That was an insanely cool interview. I envy his outlook. That's not easy to achieve in this day and age.

takes alot of guts to walk away from that money. But like he said, he is no different from anyone who is not happy in their 9-5. Difference is, the money and responsibility seems to not his driving force in his life, and who he is. Got to admire that.

For his sake, I hope he's smarter than he sounds, especially with whatever money he's made so far.
Lets check back in with him in 5 years, when he's trying to play in the NBA again b/c he's broke and desperate and will end up playing ball overseas.
