Not really, because as Kiffen said, I've been around football long enough to know how coaches get T.O.'s granted...we see it all the time, the coach talks to the official before the play and they agree he'll call a time-out at a certain time.

Shite, it happens during all those freeze the kicker T.O.s

Kiffen claims he had a deal with a ref. That's the only thing I think is wrong...if a ref promised him and now is lying.

a holding penalty on Stanford that appeared to have been called at the line of scrimmage and should have resulted in a 2nd-and-15 situation, not a 2nd-and-7.

Of the holding call, Kiffin said he discussed the play with his "friend Knox" over breakfast on Sunday morning and found that Knox, his son, was able to find where the ball should have correctly been placed after the penalty.

"Just so you know, Knox is two years old," he said.

Yea and there's always a Head Coach right there next to the referee to call the time out.

If he didn't get the TO called in time, then too bad. There's no way your knee can hit with 1 second left, you signal the TO, and the referee grant it within that 1 second.

Now the Referee saying he would be granted the TO while they were reviewing the play. I don't know. He might have a case there, if he was actually told that.

Well maybe...but the point is, he said he spoke with an official BEFORE the play and said, I want a T.O. granted as soon as he is ruled down.

I have no problem with this, it's funny shite and the refs need to stop being protected by the PAC 12...they are dogshite ever year.

The fact that Pac-12 refs didn't know how to enforce a holding penalty honestly should get the entire crew fired

Whether I like him or not that spot on the holding call was a travesty. Kiffin should have been in the middle of the field screaming.

Why, because he's climbed the professional ladder faster than most of us ever will, his wife is blazing hot...and he's proud because of both of these points?

If you had his life...you wouldn't be a nice, humble man either. LANE KIFFIN STYLIN YAWL!

USC now is not even a contender..so there is no hate or jealousy these days..Kiffen, brought on a lot of things himself while at UT..

Said a lot of things, did a few things in recruiting that were under-handed.

No one likes a rich, handsome liar...who has succeeded off the back of his father.

I have to disagree with you on the last part of your post. Just take a look at some of the prior comments.

And it will be interesting to see USC's team next year - and for probably that year only.

If Barkley comes back it will be them and Oregon for the conference title.

If the Janzen Jackson recruitment / announcement went down as reported by multiple accounts on TD, he is indeed a POS scumbag who deserves a rash of sh*t to befall his smug coaching-talent-starved arse.

It reminds me of McCoy for UT throwing that pass against nebraska and the time ran out. The ref put 1 second on the clock despite the rule being when the ref stops the play. The refs protect the undefeated teams, no doubt.

Hardly an a-hole.... he is a pussy with a hot wife. He has no place in football. He needs to be out surfing and catching the waves.
