Weird turn of events. Saban must've thought he was too distracted. But it makes you wonder how much Sark was involved in the playcalling

Deadspin had it right by saying that even though Kiffin was leaving anyway, Saban didn't want to miss out on the satisfaction of firing him.

Didn't he just have a hit piece come out on Saban in Sports Illustrated saying coaching at Bama was like coaching in hell...called it dog years.
