FAU is 3-0 in conference and 4-3 overall. They haven't been to a bowl since 2008. They were 3-9 last year and Kiffin might win C-USA in year one. Lane Train keeps on rolling baws.

Probably not materially different than it was last season. The turnaround is impressive.

They have some decent teams. La Tech, Southern Miss, North Texas (who they put 70 on and they were leading the conference), UTSA. It's not a top conference, but it has some teams that could give bigger teams a shot.

ETA: and your boy Joey Saltwater putting up 69. Nice.

That's not very convincing. Worst conference in FBS

I understand this question but it’s dumb in this context. Not like Lane was bringing in a stacked class to FAU or a bunch of quality transfers. He has less to work with than some of the other coaches in conferences without having “his guys”.

kiffin to ole miss tbh. all the controversy around it would be fitting for kiffin and ole miss. bring back some former ole miss coaches who are probably guilty in the recent scandal in oxford. can't make this stuff up.

it’s relative though. He’s working with FAU talent.

I thought he did get a bunch of notable transfers? The kid from EMCC/FSU?

Kendal briles deserves most of the credit . Lane realized he needs to be a CEO not a oc so he lets Kendal run the offense
