When he was with Khloe she did a good job of cutting off a lot of the moochers. I'd imagine that she also had some of her money people taking care of his investments as well.

He was paying rent, cell phone, house, bills etc etc etc for like 15-20 moochers

I thought she was good for him, for as bad a wrap as the Kardashians get as a whole. She's the least crazy of the bunch, and he seemed to have his life together for most of their marriage.
Even loved ones can be driven to their wits' end when dealing with family members dealing with addiction. It's a helpless feeling. They have to want to help themselves.
