Watch the video in the article i included in an edit. The angle you use is highly misleading for your assessment. The screenshot is after the scuffle began, and Boykins arm can not throw a punch, his arm backs off as the coach gets in the way. His fist is indeed closed, he does not "throw a punch."
The whole thing started on the other end of the court.

But a piece written by the biggest and most trustworthy sports news company in the world, the next day after league officials and countless reporters had carefully reviewed the incident, is not correct simply because the video is edited to give you all the best angles of the entire incident just as any responsible news video would be edited?

For the record, I dont see any punches at all in the video. A better quality one would help. It just looks like a lot of shoving.
