Fullerton could very easily have hosted and probably should have.

Meanwhile, the butthurt coming out of Lafayette over going 0-2 against La Tech this year is comical.

Good luck to the bulldogs in the Starkville regional. I'm sure they'd prefer going 0-2 against us and hosting.

As far as them being paired with the Lafayette regional, i'm pulling for them!

Those are skewed by the 4 seed, which are tougher to equalize as the RPI can vary greatly. But even there, the higher ranked teams should get the easier 4 seed if they try to properly seed this.

Fullerton has a RPI in the 40s, so, no, they had no business hosting.

The Starkville regional has a #3 seed ranked higher than 3 #2 seeds and a #4 seed ranked higher than 8 #3 seeds. While it may be skewed slightly this is a very tough regional with four good teams. I think SeMo has 3 guys with double digit HR's and 60+ RBIS, CSF has the nation's best ERA, Tech is scrappy and has been raking as of late along with a top 10 ERA guy and a top 5 closer, and State won the SEC regular season title.
